Apart from my work which I love, my activities always include my family and in particular my beautiful grand children. I'm also a sun worshipper, so my foreign warm climate holidays are very much valued. Lately I've vacated in Cape Verde, Mexico and Egypt and can't wait to try my next exotic location

After completing my education in 1999, I embarked on my career in estate agency as an apprentice at Dowen Sedgefield. Despite my young age of 20, I quickly demonstrated my potential and was soon promoted to the position of branch manager at Dowen Spennymoor. This achievement was followed by another promotion, allowing me to oversee the bustling Durham City branch, conveniently located just minutes away from where I reside, near the tranquil River Wear.

In 2020, an opportunity presented itself for me to acquire Dowen from its founder, Denis Dowen. This pivotal moment stands as one of the proudest milestones in my life, as I took on the role of managing director.

I left school at 16 years of age, after collage I then decided to follow my Mother into the world of estate agency, I started my apprenticeship with-in Dowen Peterlee but have had the experience of working in other branches, during this time I have learned and discovered many things about both the business and myself and realised Estate Agency is the world in which I want to be in. I am looking forward to the many things I still have to learn and experience and working with the Dowen Group I know I am working with the best!

Outside side of work my passion is horses; most weekends I attend horse shows with my Granda other than that I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends.

I have been employed with the Great North Property Auction to which Dowen was a founding member since its outset in 2014.

My role is to co-ordinate the sale of the properties that Dowen Estate Agents presents, to us, to offer at auction.

I maintain regular contact with vendors, co-ordinate on-line and public property auctions, negotiate sales, process buyer deposits and essentially keep everything on track
